PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Actress Saray Sakana will be getting married on December 12, 2013.
The date is good for both families, and We are able invite all of our entertainer friends to come to the wedding, she told the latest issue of Angkor Thom Magazine.
She plans to quit the industry to focus on her new family after the wedding.
"I have been very successful and I'm very thankful to the fans who stood by my side," she said. "But it's time for me to move on and have a family.
"I regret making this decision but immediately following the marriage I will be moving to the U.S. with my new husband."
She's engaged to Keo Metrey, a Cambodian-American lawyer, who she considers as her most favorite person.
"His wealth is not a concern to me, it's his personality that I like," she said. "He's good guy. When I'm upset he tries to make things better. He's very smart when it comes to the law."
Observers remained concerned that she might be following in the footsteps of Keo Pich Pisey who married a man that already had a family.
She's very sure about the background of her fiance.
"I have spent a lot of time with him and I know he that he doesn't have any wife or kids," she said. "I have known him since 2007 and his neighbor also said he had never had a family before."
