PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) - About 30 residents of two property development sites petitioned the World Bank and the European Union Wednesday seeking help to release two detained residents.
The petition said Tim Sakmuny, who was detained for incitement, had rejected an offer of a house and $1,000 from Suy Sophan, who chairs property developer Phanimex.
The second detainee, Youm Bopha, has been accused of attempted violence.
Both were detained earlier this month.
