Prime Minister Hun Sen

PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) - Prime Minister Hun Sen will address the Cambodian parliament on border issues with Vietnam next week, according to the National Assembly of Cambodia.

The National Assembly, in its press release, said today that it would hold its 8th plenary session of the 4th legislature on Aug. 9. One of the agendas in the upcoming session is a verbal clarification to the NA on border demarcation tasks between Cambodia and Vietnam.

Hun Sen decided to make clarification over the border issues with Vietnam as the MPs from the opposition parties criticize his government for dealing with border issues with its neighboring country.

Cambodia shares a 1,270-km border with Vietnam to the east.
