PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) - Cabinet Minister Sok An met Friday with a Thai delegation led by Suradet Jiratiticharoen, chairman of the Energy Committee of the Thai Senate, to discuss overlapping maritime claims.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Sok An said he advised the delegation of Cambodia’s position in finding a formula acceptable to both sides to start joint exploitation of oil and gas.
"We want justice for a rapid solution," he said. "An American company is exploring for petroleum in our sea, so we will get petroleum soon."
